The documentary
Hundreds of thousands of kilometers of rural roads have disappeared in France since the 60s. Today, the question of our freedom of movement often arises in front of a forest, a fence or dense vegetation. Sometimes, we turn back, but most of the time, it’s possible to get through. In Burgundy and the Morvan, users are mobilizing to save and reopen these rural roads, defending our fundamental right to circulate freely. Workcamps are being organized to rediscover and protect these paths, and new forms of governance are being envisaged to transform these country lanes into places of exchange and sharing.
A heterogeneous community united in the same fight: not to let a single path disappear!
