Elephant night

La nuit des éléphants

The documentary

A baby elephant is born on the banks of a river. But no sooner has he had time to discover his family and their luxuriant environment populated by a profusion of animals than the matriarch rings the departure bell; the ephemeral oases of the Kalahari are beginning to dry up and soon, the Garden of Eden will once again become a merciless desert.

Thus begins the incredible odyssey of the baby elephant and his family. A journey of initiation covering hundreds of kilometers through the wildest parts of Southern Africa.

A new kind of discovery documentary, Night of the Elephants is a sensation, revealing for the first time ultra-high-definition (4K) color images of Africa’s nocturnal world.
